Deviousness |
That may be due to the difference of adjustment between our screens, but I mainly used some blue for his eyes
Everything in this picture is so crisp and sharp. Very nice.
The way you used softer lines is a great move in creating a gentle, but realistic tone.
The coloring is very soft and has a grainy texture. In which this grainy texture really helps in shoring pores in the skin, the scruffy feeling of
the five o'clock shadow. Also in his suit jacket's material.
His hair and eye brows are beautiful. The soft lines gives his face a more realistic tone. This is because the hair looks soft and natural against his grainy textured-implying pores-skin. I love it. It shows a good hygiene for hair kind of thing. Ha-ha.
The shading is done very nicely. You play with the natural colors in their tints and tones to create a spectrum of a color palette based upon the base colors. I love it. And using black to create a major shadow effect is great in adding to the mood of this piece. It creates a yet warming feeling by seeing his face, but with the harsher shadows it creates a mystery to him due to his blue eyes.
Fantastic work.
But I still have to say that I used a reference for this, so the credit for the good ideas of the shadows and contrasts goes to the photographer
I've tried to find the picture on the Internet but failed, that's why there's no link to it contrary to my habit!
Anyway, thank you!!!
Thank you.
